The goal of postoperative care is to ensure that patients have good outcomes after surgical procedures. A good outcome includes recovery without complications and adequate pain management . Another objective of postoperative care is to assist patients in taking responsibility for regaining optimum health at home.
Thus Home Physical Therapy treatment is very crucial in post-surgery or post-op cases. Interactive PT-Rehab's goal is to ensure that our patient returns to it's fullest functional level. Most specially with regards to our patients ADL (Activity of Daily Living) and personal care assistance are provided if deemed necessary.
Body conditioning is the exercise and practice to build the body up for either improved normal performance, as in physical therapy, or in preparation for sports performance.
Body conditioning is the practice of physical exercise to promote better health conditions in a human being. This conditioning can be performed to obtain better athletic goals. Body conditioning may also be used for rehabilitation purposes after an injury.
Recovering from an injury requires training and exercise. These physical therapy programs are designed to get the body back into a normal condition. Most rehabilitation programs take several months to complete and are designed to return a person to a normal physical condition.
HEP or home exercise program is essential to doing well in your rehabilitation program. It is an exercise regimine that should be performed two to three times per day at your own home. Being active in your own personal rehab will greatly pay off!
HEP is created to maintain patient's maximum functional level. Design to prevent further regression of physical status.
